Richard E. Vincent, DC - President

Along with an impressive history of clinical practice, Dr. Vincent has served as President of the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society, Chairman of the Massachusetts Board of Chiropractic Examination and Registration, President of the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards and President of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Long active in his state and community, he served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the North Shore Community College and Board of Directors of the Beverly Savings Bank. He is Past President of The Practice Resource Group, a chiropractic management organization and a Past President of the Society of Chiropractic Management Consultants.

He was President and CEO of Spine Managed Care Network (SMCN). After the acquisition of SMCN by National Chiropractic Mutual Insurance Company, he served as the Clinical Director of Chiropractic Services for Triad Healthcare Inc. Dr. Vincent is currently Executive Vice-President and Clinical Director of Graston Technique®.

A frequent lecturer at chiropractic colleges, state and national organizations, Dr. Vincent is well published. His articles deal with practice management and the ethical delivery of chiropractic care. In 2005 Dr. Vincent received the George Arvidson Award from the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards for his distinguished service to the chiropractic profession.

Matthew H. Kowalski, DC, DABCO . Vice President

Having served as a consultant to three industry specific electronic health records systems, Matthew H. Kowalski, DC is working with Insodeco, Inc.* and Swiftsafe** to customize the HealthChart EMR to the needs of chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists and acupuncturists.ls

Doctor Kowalski has been a practicing chiropractor for 15 years. His practice experience has focused on practicing within an integrative environment. He is a consultant to the Harvard Medical School Osher Institute for Complementary and Integrative Therapies and has practiced in a hospital setting for 15 years. Through the assistance of his guidance, several chiropractors have gained privileges in US hospitals.

Brian Justice, DC . Treasurer

Brian D. Justice DC, DABCO has been a practicing chiropractor for more than 20 years in a variety of settings including private practice, group practice, on-site industrial settings, on-site hospital CAM programs, multidisciplinary healthcare clinics for the indigent and occupational medicine departments.  He has lectured to a wide variety of medical and chiropractic audiences regarding a diverse selection of clinical and quality care issues. He has taken corporate, industrial and professional groups through wellness initiatives both in lecture format and one-on-one coaching.  He believes strongly in giving back to your local community and has served on the BOD of a wide variety of regional charitable organizations.

Dr. Justice is currently participating with the Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters, an upstate and regional Western New York guideline process as well as the NCQA regarding quality practice initiatives.  He is a part-time chiropractic medical director for BC/BS of Rochester, New York.


John Ventura, DC . Secretary

John Ventura, DC, DABCO has 22 years of practice experience: 2 years as an associate of a large 4 doctor practice, 5 as a solo practitioner and 15 as a co-owner of Rochester Chiropractic Group, LLP, a practice with 5 full time chiropractors and 4 locations.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Ventura has serviced as a clinical instructor in the department of Family Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine the past 6 years. In addition, he is an assistant clinical professor at New York Chiropractic College. He has taught a quality improvement course through National University of Health Sciences. Dr. Ventura is a Consulting health staff member of Park Ridge Hospital and has worked in the Integrated Health Center at Highland Hospital.

Karl Kranz, DC, JD . Legal Counsel

Karl Kranz, DC, JD has been an administrator in the development of chiropractic practice for more than twenty-five years serving chiropractic at the national level with the American Chiropractic Association and the International Chiropractors Association and at the state level with more than eighteen years of service as the Executive Director of the New York State Chiropractic Association. Doctor Kranz is licensed to practice chiropractic in New York, Virginia and the District of Columbia and is admitted to the Bar to practice Law in New York, Massachusetts and the District of Columbia. Dr. Kranz as a keen interest in the changing health care system with particular attention focused on consumer-driven/directed health care; the NCQA-Bridged to Excellence patient-centered, evidence-based pay-for-performance/pay-for-quality phenomena and the movement toward quality physician scorecards and provider report cards.


Wendy C. Brabon, Director of Internet Technology

Wendy Brabon founded a web development and software company with the goal of helping customers formulate Internet solutions tailored to each client's needs - from non profit organizations to small businesses to major corporations around the world. She has worked with over 100 corporations and associations in helping them achieve success online.

In addition to more than a decade of e-business experience, as well as strategic planning and marketing expertise, Wendy's extensive knowledge of Internet technologies, product development, and database management gives her the ability to help formulate Internet solutions. She has worked in a variety of manufacturing specialist roles including MRP, Inventory control, product development, engineering and database management for both Eastman Kodak Company and Siemens.

Wendy is a board member of the eBusiness Association as well as a past president; marketing chair and board member of AIDS Community Health Center; education seminar leader of the Small Business Association; and guest lecturer at Rochester Institute of Technology.


Ray Justice, Director of Creativity and Business

Ray Justice has started, owned and operated a variety of companies over the last 39 years including retail stores, wholesale distributor, marketing, sales, construction, property development, not for profit education and more.

A former Chamber of Commerce "Business Person of the Year" and recipient of the Sam Walton Leadership award, Ray plans to bring a style of "poetic thinking" into the business world. A published author, poet, business coach and workshop facilitator he is often sought after because of his out of the box methods of problem solving, creativity and possibility thinking. Along with his additional experience in hypnosis and intuitive writing his direction is now fully focused on human development through diversity, creativity and intimate connection.


Tom Hyde, Director of Development for Sports Programs

Dr. Hyde graduated from Florida State University with a major in biology after serving 5 years in the Marine Corps. After teaching school, he entered Logan College and graduated from there in 1974. He and his wife Susan, moved to Miami where he set up practice that same year. Dr. Hyde focused on treating athletes and served as the chiropractor for several high

schools, a major university and the Miami Dolphins for 7 years. He also worked events around the world and coordinated chiropractic coverage for powerlifting events for 20 years and also competed for 18 years.

In 1986, Dr. Hyde was selected to attend the United States Olympic Training Center 2 week Sports Medicine Internship. The following year, he was selected to be the team chiropractor for the Pan American Games. Dr. Hyde has authored a number of peer reviewed articles, several chapters in text books and co-edited the first edition of Conservative Management of Sports Injuries published by Williams and Wilkens in 1996. Subsequently, Dr. Hyde is working on a second edition as an author and co-editor with Marianne Gengenback. This latest edition will be published by Jones and Bartlett.

During his career, Dr. Hyde also served on the RAND multidisciplinary back pain panel, worked as one of 35 participants on the Mercy Guidelines and currently serves as the liaison to the World Olympians Association of the Americas. He also continues to lecture for the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician course for several schools and lectures around the world on sports topics, soft tissue disorders and how to develop a sports chiropractic practice.
