What is a WIKI?
According to Wikipedia, the largest, best known, and most widely used WIKI in the world, a WIKI is a website that allows the easy creating and editing of a database of information. Most WIKIs,
as is the case with the IHCPR WIKIs, have a very specific purpose. In addtion, IHCPR monitors the content addition and editing of the WIKI so that only current and appropriate information is
shared. WIKIs provide the opportunity for a community, such as the membership of IHCPR,
to share their expertise. The WIKI becomes a 'flow through' point for information: some members adding content, some members editing content, some members taking away and using the information. The
power of information rises exponentially when shared in this format.
You’ll find our interactive, field-tested marketing wiki a tremendous resource for practice growth, and the implementation of our procedural wiki will greatly improve the day to day management
of your office.
We encourage to explore these WIKIs, feel free to take away whatever information is useful to you, and feel free to offer edits or additions to the information if you feel the IHCPR membership will
benefit.
